First of all, let me just say that I do not believe in killing animals for their meat. While it may be delicious, it does not have any nutritional value. The same can be said for eating plants and fruits that are plucked right from the plant. Why? Because, while some parts are good for us, much of the fruit and vegetables we eat, such as apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, and peaches are really not very nutritious.
There are a few super healthy foods that you can eat on a regular basis without having to worry about harming the planet or hurting someone’s health. One is the aforementioned banana, which is high in potassium and fiber. This is a super healthy fruit to include in your diet. Also, there are many different fruits that are super healthy to eat, such as blueberries, pears, apricots, peaches, mangoes, grapes, and so on and so forth.
Now, let me share with you one of my favorite foods that are healthy, but it is not one of those “super foods.” I am talking about oatmeal! I know that some people will not like oatmeal, but it is one of those foods that can be used over again. It is full of antioxidants and protein, both of which are great for you. Eat plenty of oatmeal each day, and it can be used as a breakfast or a dessert and it will be fine.
Another healthy snack idea is to have a bowl of cereal with a little bit of fruit in it. This can be done in the morning, right when you wake up, and even before you go to work. It is easy to do and will fill you up. Again, be sure to eat plenty of fruit in this process as well.
These are just a few of the foods that are very important for eating on a daily basis if you are looking to live a healthier life. I am sure that you will find that many of them are super healthy and you will wonder why you did not add them sooner. So start eating healthier and feeling better today.
